Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Although I think the west coast stuff will be up-gauged and/or some frequency cut out, I don't think a 717 would perform any better than the 175s are because the schedule that the airplanes are expected to fly from 06:00 to midnight is just absolutely insane. Nothing longer than a 30-40 minute turn the entire day...what could possibly go wrong?
Well. I think you could run the 717 shuttle with DTW and ATL crew.
I did recently put some interesting charts in McRae, Cayman Islands, Boise, Bozeman and Las Vegas. Our September trips are full of Song Flying.

Why move the 717 to the west coast when we have plenty of 76 seat RJ's to do that flying?

The silver lining may be that they can definitely do four bases with 88 airplanes. Just because they're saying they will only do three now, if the distribution of flying makes it worthwhile, they'll do it... in a New York minute.

How's that codeshare thingy working out for Delta pilots?

The real sickening thing is that I'll wager a steak dinner that it gets sold to SWA.... I'd rather they tear it down than sell it to them...
