Also wondering what it does besides display charts. I understand that the auto-update in lounges, moving map, weather, bidding software, company forms, and other functions are not available and probably won't be now that RT is a dead OS. 3rd party software is under no obligation to support RT. It would sure be a shame to wait all that time for something that just displays charts--any pdf reader could've done that, heck, a Kindle Paperwhite will run for days. Rather than fuss with the mount, the display and the software updates, this thing will probably just sit in my flight kit until they take away the paper jepps. Can't use it below 10K anyhow, why risk a violation?

Yes, because it is not duty required by Delta. The same thing goes for commuting to work, changing diapers at 2AM, or flying your GA airplane.

But any of these could affect your ability to report fit for duty.

I was being sarcastic. I was pointing out how ridiculous it is to consider commuting as duty. Just because I'm on an airplane headed to work, doesn't mean that I'm on duty.

Anyone ever jumpseat on Air Canada or Westjet from Canada to US? Looking to deviate from a DH but Air Canada and Westjet are the only direct flights. Can I just walk up to the gate? Taxes? Thx

Random question of the day....

Time for new work pants and not sure if if I should go with the pleated or flat. So Pleated vs. Flat, thoughts?

Use paper charts below 10k until FAA test starts...a step in the right direction.

Depends ... are you asleep? The OJ Jury seemed pretty well rested and the Supreme Court does not seem to be missing any sleep.

I think it might be perilous to seek fashion advice from guys in their forties and fifties, but I will try to include this in the Contract Survey.

Or spending 3+ hours slamming potholes and sitting in toll lines and traffic jams being a NYC "local"?
