I can't remember the last time an AE award went beyond two business days to post. I can only assume the massive amount of movement and training events generated created a logistical/operational nightmare. That, or the Commodore 64 Delta IT gave CR to run the award crashe, and they are having a heck of a time finding parts.
My letter to the entire MEC
I am hoping you will all agree to put together a detailed education piece/update for the pilot group on the harm created by the AF/KLM JV and seek their input. I fully understand it is still running its course until the Spring.
There is a great deal I don't understand, but right now I see 3 options for settlement.
1) pay the harmed individual pilots
2) spread the damages across the entire pilot group (pay increase, improved value of vacation day, etc.)
3) roll the damages into C2015
From what I know today, I am strongly opposed to number 3 and IMO that is the feeling of the pilot group.
Thanks!
Jerry

And just how do you propose determining who individually has been harmed? I would think that is pretty near impossible, because we ALL have been harmed by a lack of progression. So that is out. If number 3 is already determined to be a no go, that leaves number 2 which by definition is money for jobs, hence a scope scale. I KNOW you aren't really advocating that, so what is it you are really after?

So, look for it later today, unless Marketing gets to change their mind...again!
You KNOW their 5 year plan changes every 3 weeks.
Why before push back do we get updated weather when we all have ACARS to get more up to date weather?
And why do we pull CBs on airplanes that sit for a while or overnight?

According to someone who posted on DALpilotforumschitchat, it will be posted this afternoon. He said Marketing changed their minds a couple times and it had to be re-run 4 times!

Marketing changes would change the amount of backfilling.

We pull breakers on long sits so the guys who come out the next morning feel like they accomplished something by pushing the breakers back in.
I'm glad I could educate you.
