nope.. wrong hombre, ive paid my dues and am sick and tired of the give give give of alpo since restoration was touted last time (3b6 and scope anyone) but the unfortunate reality is we are stuck with them since the dip****** pilots association is completely and utterly incompetent, they will hurt my wallet if they keep up their garbage, we have to hitch one more time to the alpo train but a failure like c12 will really be the end and im not optimistic, maybe donarelli can fix it but he might be just another hot air alpo politician

n/s lec/mec they are all corrupt and padding their own bedding and it sickens me that we have no choice

skeptically wearing the lanyard and pin until the inevitable failure,

So we're all about unity except when you decree we're not? Are pilots restricted to only considering the history of our group's history from their date or hire? IMO we should show unity and not try to divide the pilot group by squelching speech from those we deem not worthy of taking into consideration what's happened to the group as a whole.

I said $1 billion over 3 years. $268 million day 1. Try again. I guess reading comprehension isn't one of your strong points.

Pot, meet kettle. I've yet to see you post a logical, fact based argument. At least I've provided facts. Can you do the same? Since I'm still waiting, the answer is obvious.

You're right. The 1 & the 3 are no where near close to each other on an iPhone keyboard. Are there ever mistakes made in your ivory tower? How did you even make it through the military?

Wow. This coming from someone with the handle of purple drink. Which you must be on 24/7. I've provided numbers distributed to the pilot group. Can you disprove them? Try making a single post without an ounce of hypocrisy. I imagine your ability to do that is in line with your ability to disprove the numbers I've provided. How's the treehouse coming along? Has Carl shown you the secret handshake yet?

So we are all entitled to are own opinion, and we shouldn't be chastised or insulted for expressing it? Is that your claim?

Well stated. Someone's length of time here is meaningless. Only the thoughts and opinions matter. FWIW, I look forward to what this new generation (and relative seniority) of pilots being hired are going to do to our profession's direction.

  • Just think; remember that Delta is a holding company of alter ego stacked on alter ego and the easy play is simply to move flying around to the flavor of the day while allocating costs to the "bad boys."
  • Hold ALPA accountable for results. Learn about the Candidates. Know how your Reps vote. We, as members of the association fail the association when we let things like Endeavor's negotiations go unchallenged. We need to keep a very close watch on this transatlantic JV.

Unfortunately, That is most certainly NOT what you said. That may be what you changed it to with the aid of your moderator position after being called (even Alan Shore jumped on).

At least the other DALPA cheerleaders have some credibility. Questionable .tives, to be sure, but at least come credibility You, on the other hand...not so much. Logic is clearly not your strong suit. Maybe night school classes will help?

Actually accomodations can take forever to reach. They usually have one or two people staffing them, so one pilot gets through in 2 seconds while someone that calls right after can wait a while. You could also try the transportation company direct. Some are very flexible and even if they're not, there's often an earlier van already scheduled for another crew you can usually ride on. Improvise, adapt, overcome.
Oberon:

When's your TOE? Consider:

--Calling the transport company direct. Any static from them, suggest their driver may not be happy later.

--Call the LCA and let him know you may be late, and why.

--Call the Pilot Support Center, and ask for support...let them stay on hold with crew accommodations.

--Call scheds and tell them you can't fly---> your ear's still sore.

Good Luck and have FUN!

Only two groups of people can prove your (and DALPA's) numbers to be true. One group is DALPA, and the other is management. So far, both sides refuse to release the costing sheets that would show the net annual and total value to the pilot group. DALPA patently refuses, and management will only release clues by calling C2012 "cost neutral" and then going further by stating "in addition, the cost savings realized by the pilot's contract will allow us to invest in initiatives that benefit other employee groups." Now the latest clue of management stating that all employee groups (except pilots) are back to their pre-bankruptcy wages.

In my opinion, this isn't just a DALPA bashfest or some abstract academic exercise. It's about the meaning words. Last time, DALPA "heard us loud and clear", and now they say we're poised for "historic gains." What does that mean? Can it be that we'll see a replica of C2012 with a campaign to state that it will cost the company X Billions of dollars...but nobody will show us how those billion figures are derived?

DALPA would do us all a great favor by showing the costed line items and prove where the numbers came from.
