To the operators of this site I'd recommend a heart-to-heart conversation with IB that not screening ads is bad for business...

Is that the one that redirects the page? That ticks me off to no end. Seeing what can be done about it...

No. You retain double pay, no credit for your GS trip, and you will be made to fly as much of the other trip as you are legal for.

New hire question.

I need to get a van time changed to arrive on time for TOE. I'm on hold with Crew Accommodations; how long does it usually take to talk to an actual person? I waited 15 minute the first time figuring I was lost in the queue. This seems excessive.

Edit: on hold for 14 minutes on the second call before someone picked up. I think the issue has been solved.

After you, my brother. No one who knows me has ever considered me mindless or a parrot. Even DAL 88 Driver agrees with me from time to time, albeit reluctantly and with caveats attached.

How about a Boeing v. Airbus fight?

I'm tired of the Delta fight club.

I say Boeing might have a shot because of the better cabin configuration of the -900; but cheap is cheap.

My guess:
  • ALPA's Trans Atlantic and Virgin Negotiations will have to be substantially concluded before Delta management announces their wide body order.
  • The wide body order numbers will trickle out.
  • Delta will buy (regardless of ALPA's negotiations) the cheapest aircraft they can for Delta.
  • Delta will continue to lavish our big Capital Expenditures on owned subsidiaries (like Endeavor and Virgin Atlantic, which needs a new fleet and who has no money to speak of)
