DAL,

To be fair C-2012 pre-dates record profits so this contract is the one that will determine if our compensation has been permanently reset or not.

On the other hand, you can argue that management saw the record profits coming and used that information to their advantage in C-2012. You would probably win that argument.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

It was a little early in the morning (my time) for such frustration, but at least there was no alcohol involved

Default Max pay while in initial--help!

Thanks Ferd.

FTB, you are a riot.

T, hope your Mom is okay.

Does anyone have gouge on max pay while in initial training? I'm finally transitioning off the Mighty 88 (senior due) and headed to the 7ER (45%ish). I've read the contract and ALPA shadow bid stuff but wonder how I can use the system to get paid the most while sitting on VA Ave.

Thanks for any help. Training starts in Sept.

I'm just asking you to be intellectually honest. You posted about how your pay isn't even back to 2004 levels, unadjusted for inflation. Yet you support all things DALPA, which by extension means you support making every excuse in the book for why we can't/shouldn't expect restoration.

You can't have it both ways. Either advocate for restoration (which means you are going to have to advocate that DALPA begin pursing that sort of objective) or don't complain about how far our pay is below 2004 levels.

I am fully aware that you and I have vastly different points of view. I just saw a glimmer of hope in that one comment you posted earlier. I guess I was mistaken. Disregard. Probably is better to just leave it at that.
