Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
A quick shift in gears, but after getting logged out of Deltanet and iCrew all morning, I followed the Trim Tab's advice and called the help number. Let me save you the trouble.
After slogging through the phone tree, I finally got a live person on the phone. I described the problem and she says, "You're not using a Mac, are you?" "Why, yes I am," I reply. "Well, you shouldn't be using a Mac. We don't support Macs," was her answer. "That's why you're having all these problems."
She was completely unhelpful. When I told her that I (and many others) never had these problems until recently, she said that my Mac software was probably going bad. Riiiiight. The only advise she gave me was to delete my cookies and start over, but other than that didn't seem interested in finding out what the real problem is (and it's not with my Mac).
Anyway, I think she's full of it. My question to all of you who have had similar issues: Are you on a Mac or a PC?
Thanks.

By the way, the easiest way to contact I.T. is via the Help option in the upper right corner of Deltanet. On the help page, there's an option for a live chat. Very easy to use and you don't have to wait for a live person.
For the Apple iPhone question, my friend tells me that Safari works just fine.
Just flew my last flight last night on the LAX73NB. Should help your seniority next month. It was a good run out in LA, the 767 then senior on the 73, but between the state tax every month (around $800-850/month) and the property tax, I'm packing my bags. If you're a government employee like my wife, you have a cost of living adjustment, but for your regular old working stiff, it's just a pay cut.
Third time living in SoCal. Twice in the military. Many things I like about SoCal, but too rich for my current profession. I'll miss the Mexican food and the nice drive home up PCH.
Good Luck!

Sorry to see you go! My seniority is stuck in reverse however. Senior guys coming in, junior guys getting pushed out. I agree with you about the costs of living in CA. My wife is a stay-at-home mom of 3 and we're looking to make a move as well. Gonna wait until the SOC shoe drops and probably head east. My wife's a NorCal girl so that's gonna hurt a bit but she sees the inevitable as well. The "sunshine" tax has overwhelmed our means. Good luck brother. See you in a concourse somewhere soon.

Really respect the fact that you and your wife are doing the heavy lifting to have her home to give your kids a leg up in this life. It's really become almost a luxury these days. I'm sure many sacrifices are made for your children, but not many better reasons to give a few "things" up. I write my last check for college in December. Yahoo!!!!!!!!
I'm headed to the ER in NYC. About 55% right now, but that will change with SOC. Moving to Florida, but will be doing FL==>NYC==>Occasional conjugal visit to SoCal for around 9 months until my wife gets her transfer. We're talking Varsity level commuting after 3 1/2 years of driving to work. Ouch!
Hope your seniority holds, so you can keep some QOL. I started at #6 moved down to #13 and think I would have gone to around 24 with this last bid. Just decided to call it good and pull the yellow and black ejection handle prior to SOC.
All the best Buzz and good luck with your other endeavors.
V/R,

Score 3 more times for getting logged out from DLnet trying to get into iCrew.
ATLAS sounds quite enticing.

I'm getting logged out by both IE8 and FireFox on my PC. The only problem with using the tech support link on the DLnet is you have to get on the DL net.
Does anyone have the UHC nurse-line phone # handy? I'm on the road and trying to decide if I need to send my wife to the ER. Thanks.
