You know what, you guys are really turning me off to coming here much any more. You may not agree with Sailingfun, I can see that but questioning his integrity, I don't agree with that. Weren't most of us Officer's and all of us Gentlemen? I'm really kinda disgusted with the turn things have taken the last few days.

What does IIRC stand for, shiznit? I'll give you the answer, it stand for "IF I RECALL/REMEMBER CORRECTLY!!" A little reading comprehension would've taken you to the conclusion that "I CAN'T RECALL/REMEMBER."
I don't have "blind hatred" for D-ALPA. I don't like the bloated bureaucracy, but realize, for now, there's a benefit or need for the necessary evil. How would you transpose a post of "I can't remember," to "I hate D-ALPA?"

I cannot help it if you do not believe what he stated. (as far as the former CEO and the letters go) Now I will admit that mentioning them on line was probably not the right thing to do but haven't we all posted something we might like back? But I do think he is right to not pursue this online.
The challenge has been answered by the PM'ing of a telephone number. I'm sure if you wanted him to, that Sailingfun would send you his phone number too.
I believe that statements should be challenged. That's the basis of a good debate. But to incessantly question a fellow pilots integrity does not sit well with me.

I've learned a lot about commercial and civilian aircraft identification on this thread, and I thank the experts. I'm still working on improving my ID skills and embarrassed to admit that although I've seen this aircraft plenty of times while taxiing by them on various airfields, I don't know what their official designation is. In this pic you can make one out in the background...what, prey tell is this aircraft?

A "does anyone know what UAL gets and is it more than DAL?" would have served all of us a lot better.
Don't put up bad info that furthers an untruth, it then is repeated by others. Next thing you know, it's "Did you hear about Ferris? A guy at the 31 flavors..."
Didn't mean to seem like I was blowing up at you, I just get frustrated when blame is placed unfairly and then gets repeated as being factual when it isn't.
