You so funny!

There are also a few other tidbits floating out there......

I heard that the 744's are staying too!

Want to take a guess on what dump we will get to go to next?

2. A319 to SLC and MD88/90 to MSP to start about JUN1
3. Atlantic traffic (ASM) down 20% this winter but should recover in Spring
4. End of 3rd QTR have 5.8 B in cash
5. 2010 (ASM) down 3% from 2009
6. 1000 extra pilots but do not "want" to furlough
7. The main goal of the Company over the next 5 yrs is to pay down debt
8. No big A/C order during that time period.
9. All 73's, 75's and 76's to get winglets.
10. A319 and NWA 757 to add 8 seats
11. Live TV on All A/C except MD80 and DC9.
12. JFK. Plan to add jetways at both ends of terminal 4, tear town terminal3 and renovate Term 2 and join it with Term 4. Never been there so I hope that makes sense.
13. Announcement next week about new destinations.

None of this was confindential info.
Hope this is helpful
Well, not all 757's can get winglets so I wonder what the plan for the 5500 series is. Second, no large aircraft order for the next 5 years means no 100 seat replacement so there's a battle for our next contract. Makes me nervous. Third, 8 seats added to the A319 means 132 seats which means by the end of 2010 the smallest aircraft on property will be the DC9-50 with 125 seats.

If we don't get more MD90's within the next year we may have some overstaffing issues worse then what we have now.

The 100 seat replacement jet won't be available for another 4-5 years depending on delays. The question is how they will maintain market share while they continually take airplanes from mainline and regionals over that time period?

Fret not, the fleet plan changes all of the time. The 100 seater has been coming for many moons. Some day they will get one.

With the C-Series actually getting a design freeze, the GTF performing better than spec, Boeing realizing the need to get in to the market, and Embraer looking for motivated customers, something will give.

If the C-Series is what they say it will be, and actually makes it in the air, Bombardier will be able to mint money with it.

Sounds like the CVG meeting last month. Although the number they used last month was 1100-1200 pilots overstaffed, so maybe using 1000 was a positive thing and not just a rounding error.

RA did say that Airbus and Boeing have no interest in the 100 seat market which would be the perfect airplane for ATL with a range of about 750 miles. The only 100 seater he mentioned was the E195. He did say the 747-400 was in the fleet plan for the near future. How many depended on the amount of CRAF flying we do

That bugger has come up in more than a few conversations. I guess if we could get decent lease rates on it.

What I find interesting is that IF they are not at all interesting in the C-Series what happens in three to four years? C-Series shows up about that time frame, but they are discrediting it. So if that is true, who are we looking at? Just does not add for me.
