Thanks. Follow up question. Does a 30+ hour layover count?

30 hr layo counts as your rest. They can slap 3 of them back to back if they want, and you don't protect against it in your bid. True story.

I'm not saying that ILFC DID lose money, I am just saying that I stopped following the company when it got acquired by AIG.

And for sinca, I was just commenting on a company profiled in the story you posted. AL was started by the same successful CEO that originated ILFC. (Who also donated a ton of money to the Smithsonian btw)

You back yet from your " excursion " ?

I believe ILFC was the most profitable chunk of AIG sold off in the blood letting.

Stands to reason he will do the same again. The originally ILFC did fantastic when credit became available and aircraft that were aging significantly made up the fleets of the worlds airlines.

They (Air Lease) have been in the IBD Top 50 for awhile.
