That's what I heard as well. RA told them to go buy their own 319's and we would run them, but they can't find any used 319's. So then we were going to sell them the old 757's and run them for them, but they were too expensive. So finally the latest I've heard is we are thinking of taking the old 757's and running them as dedicated sports charter aircraft. I don't think the NBA deal is as big of a cash cow as everyone thinks it is.
Anyone with experience shipping boxes on FedEx? What kind of discount do we get? Thanks.
Personally, I've always used the two-day rate due to the discount and cost, but as always, DYODD. YMMV.

The expect to use them for MLB charters as well.

I will admit I don't follow "regular season" hockey, but the Hawks-Kings series has been the most exciting I've ever seen! Well, now that it's tied up again, maybe I spoke too soon. Go Hawks!!!

Now if they want A320s, no shortage. 20 year old bird seems to be around $5M, 15 year old bird around $17M and a new one at $48M.
So I wonder why not A320s?
There are only 9 757s listed and the only one with a price is $9.5M for 1995 ETOPs. I wonder if the cargo market is eating those up?
They show MD-88s... I know winner winner... at $3-$4M. And those should have airstairs.
Why not go with that or is it that they need transcon capability? I wonder why not go to Embraer and get the EMB-190 Lineage with an all first class interior. I'm sure they'd sell a 8 of those for a decent price?

I know this isn't the end all but Global Plane Search lists only two A319s at $24 and $22M.

The first website I checked listed 15 for sale.

Dublin or Shannon had at least 20 parked on the airfield not long ago.
