Anybody can say what they want, there is only one plausible explanation:
The MEC directed the NC to negotiate for SDPs in order to bring down the ratio of days worked vs hours flown.
Anyone who espouses anything different, IMO, is trying to cloud the issue. The 2010 resolution is irrelevant. Again IMO.

But usually this board is better. For some crazy reason people take better care of their Avitars than their real ID.

But, it's good that there is a forum for DL pilots that isn't moderated by BH and RW.

To honor Memorial Day because epic underboob would have been appreciated by our missing friends if they were here to lift a glass with us.

Frankly, I'd like to see the NC show its math on that before I take it to the bank.
With or without seeing the math... think about it. 7.5 hours of pay every time (with some of that being in the premium column) for a maximum of 4 hours of flying. I'd say it's a very logical conclusion.

I meant their first number, the $140m. Was that based on the current trip mix? If so, it was useless.

Some modelling was done. Again, I think these things would have gone senior. I do not know what base / equipment you are but I'd been all over these at 400.1 to 500nm of a hub.
