It's just that I was willing to see proof that the group really wanted to make that trade.
Seems like we didn't.
How many guys did you see at the meeting, CE? Were they... unambiguous on this issue?

I can definitely live with the LC remaining at 12 hours, and I can live with 10 hours on first day of Reserve. This is from a guy that's going to fly Reserve a lot.
The ADG at 5:15 (AND parity for Reserve) for Reserve is going to be huge. I've been arguing that Reserves should be paid same as Regular for a long, long time.
I don't know how we got here, and I don't know how SDP's got dropped, but they were my one (significant) concern with this 117 TA.
Unless I'm missing something, and there better not be a new hidden turd in it, it's time to wrap this thing up.

He did, in his own words ... you keep bringing it up after I asked the mods to redact his name. Now I have to flag your post also
As we all should know by now our MEC did some tough work, together.
When there is blood in the water some react by bringing first aid kits; others respond like sharks. It was way too early for some to publically threaten recall and for erstwhile politicians to clarify positions. I don't know if that's what was happening, but that is sure what it appeared to be.

Sure seems like it! I was hoping for MEMRAT a) for philosophical reasons, and b) because I thought the group should make the call. But the pros didn't seem to make up for the cons. I voted for C2012, but I honestly have to say I could not vote for this TA with SDP's.

I don't really even care about a memory rat at this point with CDOs off the table. I imagine there were hundreds if not thousands of angry emails and phone calls in regard to them being allowed.

Even then, nothing is binding. I recall about 5 years you guys got a resolution passed in the majority of bases directing the MEC to investigate and report back on the feasibility of recapturing 76 seat scope. The MEC summarily shelved it. Never even saw a vote. Funny that now all of a sudden a resolution from one council is being trotted out as the irrevocable will of the pilot group.

Why do you keep repeating it, by name?
Oh, I get it. Well today's turning out to be a lousy day for those who want the DPA and who want to over throw the Delta MEC.

Well, I just went from a trending no to a hard yes. I'm so glad they heard us and pulled CDOs off of this thing.

This sort of robs oxygen from those who were going to try to use the (apparent) gross unpopularity of SDP's, and deprive them of their moment in the sun. I understand the vote is being held back on the point of MEMRAT.
I don't think I could have been any clearer about the group needing to have a vote before SDP's, but I don't want our fine politicians to hold up 5:15 ADG.
Lest they want to explain how they approved SDP's in the first place, without telling us a damn thing about them.

As for the rest of the agreement. It's still not a very big step toward restoration. At some point we need to get our focus on the objective... unless you guys are all ready to just give up on that and accept bankruptcy+ as the new norm. In any case, since it's a temporary agreement (and we've got 2015 coming up soon)... and I definitely like the 5:15 and reserves paid the same as line holders... I think I can support it. Although I'd still rather see it put out for memrat, I don't think it will be a catastrophe if they approve it without... as long as the CDO's are really gone NEVER TO BE REVISITED.
