Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Having the data to look at issues and correct them as a whole is a great way to create better results for the group. This data has pin pointed issues in SFO, and MCO that have been fixed because of its use. I like the fact that we have come to an agreement on it!
It is good for all of us to see what errors we are making as a group.

ACL how many guys do you think will actually take this deal? I was a line holder on the ER out JFK but moved to just out the estimated bottom for November. Is there that much interest from the pilot group?

FOQA is awesome. When I was at Coex I remember they got all the data for our flights into PSP and found 80% or 90% of the approaches were unstabilized. They went in and figured out what the issues were and corrected them. That stuff makes a difference. It also cleaned up the whole operation meeting the stabilized approach at 1000' criteria.
And there was like a wall of shame, stuff like landing 7000' down a runway or more or just bizzare landing configurations and eventually the memo: "It is against ICAO law to simulate an emergency with passengers on board a commercial flight." They never explained that memo but I'm sure it ****ed some folks off.

If I remember correctly, a legacy I commuted on when I was based in LGA had issues with FOQA on the ILS 4. After analyzing the data, I guess they ended up changing the approach as a specific part of it called for excessive descent rates in a particular segment of the procedure, which was leading to unstable approaches, high touchdown speeds/floating.
Heyas ACL,
They pretty much hinted this was in the works at the Council 20 LEC meeting. The contract admin guy said the company was asking "Why pay guys 55 hours for doing nothing when we have guys lining up to do it for free?"
And here you go...

I can't see them getting many takers for this but I guess they don't lose much by offering it.
I do think that you will see a lot of guys jump at this. Many are begging now. If they do not, then we will continue with guys dropping trips down to nothing.
Just curious, but what were the issues going into SFO? I used to go in there a lot last year. Doing the visual, it was common for the controller to keep you high, followed by the proverbial "keep the speed up you have a 747 in trail, DON'T overtake the Brazilia landing on the parallel, contact tower, good day" from approach.

Read the green pages you can see the results of a lot of this data right there.

Yep, we got guys asking left and right for LOA's, and dropping their trips down to nothing, this way just solidifies it in to a program.

I think that there would have been a lot of takers in the narrow body fleets, but they displaced as little as possible, so that means that the narrow bodies are staffed correctly, and everyone get to fly.
