Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
If you saw what I posted by accident, you guys would REALLY be making lots of fun at me. hahaha
It seems the DAL computers don't have MS Word on them. I was using the primitive preview post function in the advance section and accidentally hit Post Reply. Big oops.

The workstations down in the crew rooms do not have much on them. I have tried to open a pdf, and that too is not on there.
Well ain't that grand. I am sure we will pass them in the coming days, or weeks. As another Delta event happens that gets us all up in a tizzy the wires will light up again.

Just an interesting perspective on that kind of thought. Management EXPECTS that we will fly safely... every day... every flight... all the time, and we HOPE they will do their job and make money for the company. Our batting average MUST be 1.000, and theirs... (acceptably) something less... yet who again has more "value" on the marketplace?
The optimist says, heck yeah! The pessimist says, a) if we know about it Delta already knows about it and b) they'd be 744 replacements. But the optimist comes back and says maybe we will get them at the price we want after everyone else says no can do.
Strictly on a pilot staff level a 744 one for one swap with 777s is one thing but anything less than 1:1 is not cool for us. I still have hopes for the 747s at Delta despite the odds.
