[QUOTE=LivingTheDream;1631828]I thought we all knew we were getting into a seniority based system. I agree to a small leveling of the good deals (ie., all offered 1 gs before a second gs is offered).

But seriously, now we want to level the time awarded? Where shall we end this socialism... we take turn

I want PBS to start working our schedules vertically. In other words, after #1 in category gets his or her first trip, it goes down to #2 in category and so on...is that too much to ask?

I keed, I keed

Yes. How many times has that actually happened?

Is the odds of that happening worth:

1. the 10-22 additional X-days each year
2. The 2-10 additional hours of pay each month
3. Reduced "full" number 3-6 times a year

I'll take the new system hands down. It is designed to give and does provide more scheduled time off for more pay than the previous system.

Honest Question...

Did every Delta Employee get a shiney new master card in the mail, or is it just me? I don't remember applying for one, and I don't remember seeing any company communications regarding the company issuing one. If this is a Delta sponsored program, why is this the first I am learning of this? If not, I need to get lifelock!

BTW, it also says its a debit card... who's account does it connect to, and how much do THEY have in their account?

I just received mine as well. From what I can tell, if the right person compliments us on the humble way we wear our backpacks, we'll get some number of points in an account which we can convert to cash and spend via the debit card.

newKnow has a giant bear rug in his living room. The bear isn't dead... it's just too afraid to move.

Wife just off the phone with the card company. The card is a way for Ma Delta to reward us. The company will put rewards $ in that account. But Comerica did say there is a way for Delta to reward us another way (thinkin the old fashioned way..... in the direct deposit checking account). I'll be calling Mama D very soon.

Ok. Just got off the phone with Mama. That card is to store "reward points", not the "reward $" we get. Each time someone gets an "atta boy/ girl", good job, etc letter, you receive gold star points. After so many points, you can go to dinner, movie, etc. The card is a way to store those points. And since I've never received any kind of letter like that in my career, I'm not going to activate the card.

That's from Delta's mouth.

I like the way you think! just put the money in my account please.

While I take pride in doing the very best job I can, I also take tremendous pride in staying off the radar of everyone that just might award me anything. My whole goal in life is to get to retirement age and have the chief pilot ask "who is this guy"?

I wish Delta had communicated this plan with us a little better (or at all).

Did a little bit of searching, but found out about this (such a great job of disseminating info).

On main page of Deltanet: RA on upper right side, under him, Earth Month 2014, under that, red "Fly Right", under that, "Blue "My rewards".
