With some persuasion from 9E-ALPA, assistance from ALPA National, and silence from DALPA about the violation of the admin handbook, as you've pointed out in the past. The impending pilot shortage is the only thing that kept the 9E concessions from having a devastating effect on small narrowbody wages, and our union had a hand in it. Doesn't excuse the 9E pilots from their vote, they could have taken a stand like ExpressJet, Eagle & Republic pilots have done in the last few months. But when they point out that ALPA & DAL had a hand in it, they're not completely wrong.
I gotta say, I'm kind of impressed... that sort of chaos and not a single wreck.
And yes, this is going to be a 2 day to process bid... this is the biggest bid we've seen in many years... probably since 08?
I hear they will only be doing AE's with no displacements for a good while to make sure people enter freezes instead of the freebies and added churn that come with displacements. That can make things go a lot more junior that have been going very senior.

They exclude the DC and 401k. My highest earning year under C2K was $235k plus in 2004 as a 73N A. Followed by 185K in 2005 after the do it once paycut, and 145K after the do it once do it twice paycut in 2006. 2007 was a big artificial jump because of the note and claim money.

Not asking for his name or señorita number!! Just trying to do a little research, something he can't won't or doesn't know how to do, to determine where he is comjng up with more work less pay.
I gave my specific examples and his inability to "play along" shows his true colors.

His airplanes say Delta Air Lines on them.
His passengers' tickets say Delta Air Lines on them.
Most importantly, his paychecks say Delta Air Lines. He's an employee of Delta Air Lines, Inc. If he comes over to the Delta Air Lines certificate, HR will consider it a rehire.
He's at DAL like it or not. If we don't want him on our seniority list or represented by our union or accruing longevity for his DAL service, that's on us and frankly pretty shortsighted & playing into management's hand. What's next, buying Alaska but not integrating their pilots & planes, sending 737s to whichever operator is cheaper? And then telling AS pilots they're not DAL and their input isn't relevant in this supposed DAL-pilots-only thread? Who would that benefit, exactly? Not us or them, right?
So what precisely is the difference with 9E pilots?

At this point, management has pierced the corporate veil with the bridge agreement, and DALPA doesn't care, so maximizing synergies between 9E and DAL is starting to accelerate. At some point this year we move to a common manual system with you guys, and next year we move into your benefits system.
"One Great Team" Pass help please!
Trying to book my spouse and I to Paris in a couple weeks. When I go try to list from "Point A, to a hub, to Paris" it shows 0 seats available. Now, when I check specifically from said "Hub" to Paris, there are seats. When I put in "Point A to Hub" there are seats available. Why then are there no seats from Point A to Paris? I don't get it and am getting frustrated. I can list on either leg, just not both of them together.
Errrrr

Okay, let's think about this.

If the similarities are so strong, then why didn't Junglebus and Mesabah just skip the abuse, and go directly to Delta. I mean, it's the exact same company, right?
