Ok Thanks, this is what I get when I try to get out from under my rock. Back under the rock for me!

The question is whether or not they are detrimental to their operation, and whether or not they are interested in cutting them loose.

Man, I wish I hadn't looked. Probably the worst sked I've had in a loooong time. Time to start calibrating my PCS requests for the 20th...

Edit: Apparently I FAILED bidding again. I got what I asked for, but didn't ask for what I wanted. What a dumba$$

yeah me too. When I bid DTW 717B they had 65 openings and I bid it based on 80% seniority. They only filled about 35, but they also never had the remaining positions on future bids, so no newhires are being placed there. So I'm almost at the bottom, working the bad schedules I bid into this category to avoid. Can they do that?

I believe BK was 2005. Either way, I think the rumor refers to year 4 of C-2000 rates.

OBTW - Some rumors on here don't seem very far fetched , this rumor seems like a real stretch.

Default XNA?

Anybody done this one yet?

I've got 30+ hours there next month. I went to look at mycrewguide.com since I haven't been there since I've been at Delta. It's not even in the database Is this a new mainline city?

Any gouge is appreciated

Brocc,

It will get better but you are describing the exact reason many Pilots do not bid into a new category on the opening bid. QOL in any new category is a total wildcard. Sometimes you are basically on a paid vacation for months while at other times it is off to the salt mines.

The issue regarding the % seniority on bids comes up every so often and while I don't remember the exact wording there is a "caveat" involved so that unfortunately the answer to your question is - Yes, they can do that.

XNA is northwest arkensas regional airport. Its out in the middle of nowhere by some farms, but is the closest airport to where walmart is headquartered. I wonder where they will put you up? I did that layover when I worked for a regional. There was nothing where we stayed.

Thanks for the response! Ugh.. I hope they start filling it soon. On the other hand, every month until May I was able to get whatever days off I wanted, including Christmas, New Years, Easter, etc. which I would NOT have had on the MD88. So it was still worth it so far.
