EasyBid has a note that with the IE8 issue you may not be able to use their interface until they have a fix. I suggest downloading and using the PBS Desktop. Worked well for me. Bids Submitted without issue.

So, I'll repeat my original question: Has anyone successfully downloaded their bids from Easy Bid to PBS for the month of May?
I get an error message as well with all browsers. Just loaded a basic bid in manually until it is resolved.

It's OK t. I know you're just trying to be a good LCA disciple. Keep up the good work. The executives thank you for all you do to fund their trophy wives' augmented booblies.
You never disappoint....

So, are you saying he transferred from the subsidiary to the parent organization? Good thing he didn't go to the junior service! ;-)

It starts with the pilot group and how we focus on ALL the sections of the contract, many here have heartache with how those sections have been handled. You should consider listening to what others have to say, guys like Purple. I know quite a few guys in the generations ahead of you that still think we are not seeing the whole picture.
Purple only has one thing to say, and that is how bad dALPA is. He has nothing else to add to any of the conversations. I am well aware of all the things you talk about in the above. I can tell you this too: Delta made almost 2.5 times the amount of money UAL did last year, and more than AAL/USA combined.... with a widebody fleet the fraction of theirs. Ever wonder why? Problem is though, we still have a $7 Billion anchor around our necks. The other carriers might see their anchors getting heavier in the coming years. As a pilot, do I like that? Not really... I would love to get some of the weight off the top of the list onto bigger equipment, but I suppose you and purple think if we just go out and buy a hundred 777s like M R Rats, and that will solve all the problems. Maybe you should study the history of this industry, and business in general. I suggest Economics 101 for starters.

The domestic network is a work in progress. It takes time to recover from the RJ damage that was done to this company. It is going to self correct in the next few years which is why I am not in favor of paying a single red cent for any RJ reduction. Ya'll should be absolutely ecstatic that DAL is waning the relationship with ALK, but I see little evidence of that from either of you. So the upshot is that Purple seems to think that if we turn down contracts that have gains, that magically all the RJs will go away, management will wring their hands and give us 500 737s... At least that is the impression he gives. Got news for ya, it don't work like that.

Fire away, my popcorn's done.

I posted a similar comment yesterday about Easybid..not able to submit bids.

I AM able to download the bid package, but when I submit I encounter an error when my selected trips are being entered into PBS. That stops the process and I try again.

I tried updating the program yesterday and today, but the software says there are no updates from what I am already using.

I sent them an email this morning, but I have received anything back.

Interesting you are concerned with the $7 billion debt. Obviously Anderson is not the least bit concerned or he would not be buying back stock and paying dividends.

This June he will complete the initial stock buyback a full 2 years early and at the BOD meeting he will announce a second buyback as well as an increase in the dividend.

Don't get off on a wild goose chase initiated by management when they come to EVERY MEC meeting and issue the talking points that are then repeated by the lemmings.

In True Headings 14-2 buried on page 3, the MEC commits to a "historic" C2015.

Follow the MEC and their commitment. Don't fall into the same old trap of repeating management's nonsensical talking points to lower expectations.

Didn't we just have a fleet break down that shows we don't have a smaller widebody fleet and certainly not a drastically smaller one?

If you count all Delta's 767s as widebodies we actually have more than AA or UAL. If not, we are 100 down. Sadly they pay 757 pay.

The 767s time out starting in 2017, if they are all replaced by the 787, A330, A350 that will be a boost. Time will tell.
