Those are replacements for the 767 domestic airplanes which will depart the pattern in 2017... source: LCP meeting.

Where is the flight standards letter with the meeting notes? Was it in an email or on Deltanet?

On the lower right side of the home page of deltanet with the latest ops news bites. Marked confident and confidential on every page... haha.

The stuff I posted was just word of mouth lower level rumors... and I didnt see the 321/739 RFP thing in there either. (thanks, t). That's not exactly a positive category replacement for the domestic 767!

It's on Deltanet. Front page of the flight ops page there is a link. Very bullish report.

So does that mean that I might win you over to my argument about how stoopid bigger paying more is?

Way too positive. We're not allowed to say such things on this forum.

I'm for a compromise on that... much broader general categories similar to the way UA and FDX scales are set up.

80 and 1067

Thanks for the info. That is something everyone should read, and yes it is very good.
Another tidbit from the meeting was We made in the 1st quarter what UCAL lost. I know Tsquare said it a few weeks ago and the other day I heard the same rumor with an associated number. If the number is true it will be a great first quarter.

Interesting that Delta released this extremely positive info (which they surely know will be disseminated far and wide) on the same day they were able to get a highly complimentary article into the WSJ.

Really turning up the heat on Alaska.

I think the more appropriate question is why not DXB-DTW. DTW has a large Arabic population.
