Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

The only way to tolerate him is to get him talking about competitive gliding. He's some gliding instructor and it takes his mind off of being a double breasted d bag.
And, yes he has been told many times that nobody likes to fly with him. However, his narcissistic, sociopathic ways will not allow him to be cool. I know it's my problem, but he is one of the people that can ruin an otherwise descent 4 day. He is just so insecure. When the FO turns one way to avoid a TStorm, he wants to turn the other way. Then, when things get sporty, he panics. On top of this, he is not all that great of a stick and rudder guy. Ham fisted.
He interprets the rules VERY narrowly. Then, to communicate his displeasure at your obvious misdeed, his only method is by raising his voice or slapping your hand away from the offending control.
Yes, the powers that be know. But, the power of d baggery has overcome the power of the CPO.
I feel better now.

That's wishful thinking. For the foreseeable future Delta is committed to the Surface. In fact, they're regretting including the iPad because it's complicating an already overtaxed IT department trying to accommodate two different platforms.
I tend to agree, because we think in terms of cell movement. You have the big picture... you use your radar to see where the sucker actually is when you get there. But if you think in terms of cells developing, maybe you have two areas to choose from, but one's building up drastically, one not so much, the old picture might lead you towards the wrong choice. A 30-minute delay is a fairly long time.
I try to get a peek at the Intellicast Radar loops to see what's happening, both domestic and the Global satellite loops. Helps me plan ahead...and get my courage up! ;-)

I live on Lake Redwine and my lake house is for sale. Pm me if you want to chat about the neighborhood/house... I've lived here for 7yrs and it is great... but I'm unable to resist the pull of SoCal!

This job is just too dang fun without having to deal with $hit heads like him.

Of course, the guy in 4C on Gogo is getting about 3-4,000 words worth of current info.
So I just turn off the radar, and trust the Captain. New York Captains are very good at looking into a storm, and determining the best path.
