Yeah I don't know. I'm not sure it was UAL. I am sure some of the FLUF guys could chime in, but even with (as you say) increased tail clearance, there could be other issues that cause problems...

The new number is around 835. The numbers have only improved over the last 18 months. We will be averaging about 5.5 new airframes a month over the next few years. Planned retirements can be found on Delta net from a company computer.

I heard that the company who originally came up with the concept now can't do them for the price as quoted. Delta said too bad - that was our arraigned price, now the entire thing has stalled.

That's what I heard, so take it for what it's worth.

I asked the same question on here about a month ago and the response was that it was on hold right now because the panels were not doing what the manufacturers were promising. Sounded like an indefinite hold for now.

Default Honest question.

Have been off line lately.

In trying to get up to speed on thumb drives, an envelope full of CQ CDs, and the 10 lb FedEx box full of shrink wrapped manuals with no binders ( really? after making an all time world revenue number? ) I have a 117 question.

Would making long call reserve an 18-24 hour call like some of the majors had in the 90's solve a lot of the companies issues?

Any word from around the camp fire about where negotiations are?

I heard from a good source that they were close to getting an agreement; possibly something by the end of the month, but here we are and I haven't seen anything. It could be making the rounds before something is officially announced, or they're not as close as they thought they were. It was also said that a package deal was what was being considered and our side didn't want to break up the package, whereas the other side was trying to get things piecemeal.

It's not a prediction, it's an SEC filing.
