Do YOU Know what it means when we are parking 75/76s and getting 900s and 717s in return? That Msp and Slc 757 are toast. That those junior people will be displaced to smaller equipment.
We are picking a fight with Alaska! Great! How bout we pick a fight with Emirates and get some heavy lift on order! All Delta does is rely on our JV partners to fly heavies.
We need some movement at the top and that has nothing to do with being miserable.
Again now go back to reality and post some more naked pictures like you always do!

How are you gonna get "buy/fly more heavies" written into the contract? I'll leave it up to you to think about the ramifications of the rest of what you just said.... but before I do, let me ax you a question: Do you have shiny jet syndrome, or do you want to be well paid with a great QOL? hint: what can we control IN our contract?

But for the company to gain the training waterfall savings we'd need some real healthy increases on the pay tables to offset the QOL stagnation that would happen for a while.

Hey guys, if working less hours was the objective (got some family issues requiring more time at home) what airplane would be easiest to give away time to reduce schedule to say 50 hours or less a month in the Salt Lake Base? A320, 737 or 7ER?

I'd go to the category with the most short trips where I had the most seniority and then bid good trips, dropping them strategically to get off the extra time needed. Good luck with the family issues.

Depends how senior you are. If you can hold short trips, bid them and put them on the swap board. Guys can more easily take short trips, and the swap board is not limited to ALV+15.

Interesting thought. We are going to retire a great portion of the list over the next 10+ years. "Stagnation" is not really likely and QOL will be the only choice you would have to make. I agree on the payscales thingy, but remember what Spock said. "The needs of the many...." I'm not saying that anybody needs a paycut, but some might get a bigger piece... eventually.. than others. I know that doesn't sit right, but Spock said.....
