And it's not just me, most of the guys around me are in the same fix, with 65-68hrs lines, and we are at the midpoint of line holders. The shortest trip in the pot is about 30 hours, all the way up to a couple 62 hr. trips, but we can't pick any of them up, due to the 72:30 ALV+15 cap = 87:30, but with the shortest trip being 30, well, you'd have to be at 57:30 or less to white slip it.

Maybe I can white slip a MD88 3 day worth about 15, and get some landings??

Or put in a greenslip and pray for snow?

Bring back the Bow Wave!
Timbo,

Wait til you start trying to manipulate while applying the 117 rules...headache. I went full on aggressive in my bid, but I expect to get backdoored too. I'm thinking about trying a reserve bid.

Swap with the pot has only the FAR limits. Assuming you have 2 trips for the month you can swap 1 of them for 2 new trips for a total of 3. Then if you want you can try and swap a new one for your origional one. This takes 2 swap runs but it is possible if total time is the most critical thing. good luck

If I wasn't commuting, I'd be bidding reserve every month! But with the weather the way it is in the winter, I don't like the thought of trying to get to ATL to sit short call.

I guess March might not be too bad...we hope!

Thanks Hammer, I might try something like that, problem is, all the senior guys will be doing it too!

Yo ATL, this is how you have a catastrophic reaction to a snow storm:

RDU to ATL:

"Our Snow-maggeddon was better than yours!

We had a Barbeaque!"
