It is really amazing how much we spend on fuel. Every $.01 in cost is a huge number to the bottom line.

The nice thing is that we have the shell corporation-- Monroe-- in place so if something does become available, we can jump on it. As the only airline with that sort of buffer against price spikes, we are unique among our peers, at least in this country...

Yep. DWARFS pilot costs by comparison.

Default ECP hotel change

This being a public forum, I won't mention names.

However, for March, our ECP layover will most likely be back in the town and not on the beach due to Spring Break festivities at the hotel. This will last through the middle of April.

Please bid accordingly.

Are we going to jump on the PHL-LHR slot AA has to give up, or let someone else have it?

I like the house of a thousand fans. They treat us well and 2 for 1 Margaritas out the back door. It's not the beach but it'll do.

FAA pilot safety training blamed for fewer flights

Glad Moak brought up pay as a barrier to entry.

That is the current plan. The only domestic 767's left will be the 1400 series airframes. 3 ER's will be converted to domestic to give a total of 7 airframes for Hawaii and some transcons. I had been posting the 757 drawdown would be done in the next 3 years but that might stretch to 4 years. Some airframes will hit hard limits and have to be parked. Some can be extended before heavy checks occur.
