There go the nice wide aisles in the 319/320. If the seats go from 17.5 to18 they gotta get the space from somewhere.

Still though, I'd rather have the seat room for the hours I'd spend in it than have the isle room (in an already roomy isle) for the minutes I spend boarding/going to the restroom etc.

With all eyes on the 757 retirement schedule, the 320 fleet plan seems to have gotten lost in the fog. The original 737-900 order was at the time said to be aimed at replacing I believe 40 older A320's. Are all the 320's being scheduled to stay longer now, or is the amount of 320's to be upgraded still somewhere in the "Current amount minus 40" category? IOW, is this interior announcement 737 growth via more 320's staying longer, or was this the "capacity neutral" plan all along?

I was bored and just reading the 2014 "Flight Plan" for the Company. One of the bullet points under Revenue struck me as odd (being that Seattle is not considered a hub in our contract).

Here it is: Continue to build brand awareness and strengthen Seattle as a domestic and international hub....

That's what I thought. We are probably a lot alike and would be friends if we were neighbors. That's why we shouldn't take personal assessment shots at each other on an anonymous web board.

Yup. I was including the 757-200ERs in the 56 count. They should be separate. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing.

That's what I was thinking. Putting money into all 69 320s is good news. They aren't getting the IFEs like the 319s, but refurbing them has to extend their life for 3-5 year min I'd think.
