That would be a bit more then the norm. I saw a total of 13 no op flights for the day. Can't view the reason codes. All were on the mad dog. Still not seeing any huge manning crises. I did here from a scheduler that more then a few reserves have sicked out of trips after getting a assignment. That is very rare.
It's Christmas. If those flights were cancelled due to a pilot shortage then that's 2,000 customers displaced. That is awful.
Before we publicly blame pilots let's remember the 717s aren't here in mass, the 88s/9s/320s etc are picking up our load while carrying their own, didn't work, system failed. Not our fault. The solution is simple, hire Boomer + others.

Once again, delta shows their appreciation of the pilots in Atlanta. Same bagged lunches(probably leftovers from thanksgiving). Stay classy Atlanta. Anyone know what they did for the other employees in Atlanta and other hubs? I know, I know, I know! Complaining about a free sandwich, how ungrateful.

Probably not going to EYW. Last-minute lodging seems to be the limiting factor.

The Sheraton in Springfield Mass (BDL long layover) provided us free turkey dinners on the house. Very classy.
