If you have 85 hours now you have the rest of Dec off. Make them give you the day as a payback day.

Default ***737 Question - Appreciate Quick Reply***

Anyone on the 737 that has experience with Key West? Do non-revs fall victims to optimization?

Is there a way to check cities that are routinely affected by optimization?

Thanks.

Got it, first it wasn't happening, then it was shown that it was, so since that cannot be it must be the pilots (and not just any pilots, MD88 pilots) lying about being sick.

It's Christmas. If those flights were cancelled due to a pilot shortage then that's 2,000 customers displaced. That is awful. Before we publicly blame pilots let's remember the 717s aren't here in mass, the 88s/9s/320s etc are picking up our load while carrying their own, didn't work, system failed. Not our fault.

The solution is simple, hire Boomer + others.

Let's look at it rationally, God is punishing us for parking the DC-9.

Never been restricted out of EYW on the 737....Not sure about the RJ's but the 737-700 does great out of there as long as the runway is dry.

Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

Once again, delta shows their appreciation of the pilots in Atlanta. Same bagged lunches(probably leftovers from thanksgiving). Stay classy Atlanta. Anyone know what they did for the other employees in Atlanta and other hubs? I know, I know, I know! Complaining about a free sandwich, how ungrateful.

Thanks very much for the reply. Merry Christmas to you!

Probably not going to EYW. Last-minute lodging seems to be the limiting factor.

The Sheraton in Springfield Mass (BDL long layover) provided us free turkey dinners on the house. Very classy.

They saved all their appreciation showing for us in NRT. At the hotel, the dinner buffet that is normally about $16 got moved up to $48 for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But with the crew discount, it brought it down to $40.
