Yeah really. I looked all over and couldn't find out anything that made any sense for the drop. At least all the players fell....
Investors 'locking in' their 135% gain in stock price for the year? JMHO, really, I have no idea either?

Was that for everyone or just the ER?
No. Just for several categories. SEA & MSP 7ER B as well as ATL 330 I believe.

All were down some after the open and held down.

Troubling technical was our volume. None of the others exceeded their avg daily volume.

DAL down on much larger negative volume than the daily average.

The market overall was down today ahead of the Fed meeting tomorrow. Investors are concerned about a reduction in the level of Federal Reserve bond buying and a new Chairman taking office.

Overall, regulators state concerns that an asset and leverage bubble is being created by cheap credit. This may be true, but, if the Fed reduces bond buying then interest rates will rise harming the real estate recovery.

Airlines are the "canaries in the coal mine" when it comes to economic downturns. I do not think we have run this bull market in real estate out yet, but I think it is close. If I were the Fed I'd take some off the table in March.

Longer term, Mexico has announced that it will allow foreign investment and ownership of oil producing assets. This inclusion of American expertise and investment is likely to double production ... which is like having another Nigeria next door. We will have low fuel prices and the Fed's action lowers them even more.

What are the rules on when you can get OE? Any of your off days are fair game? Or does it have to be during your workdays you bid for? No shadow bid or anything like that going on.

I think the only protected days you have are vacation. Otherwise, you belong to the training department.

You can call the OE scheduler and use your sexy voice. Then, call your scheduler and see what they can do. I've had some success in the past.

And if your sexy southern californian voice doesn't do the trick, then tell them you'd write a book about them and how much they suck.

If the OE is a result of an AE or VD, it's my understanding that (besides vacation or sick) you can get your OE at any time. If you are on reserve, they schedule it on your off days as much as possible. No extra pay and no X day payback. Then you are on reserve the rest of the month.... If an OE is the result of an MD, it's different. At least that's what I was told when I questioned it with both the company and the union in March.
