Looks like the MEC has responded to SD's letter regarding 117 and reserve.

The era of "proactive engagement," may be drawing to a close.

I have no idea how your CBA might address this, but you might be legal as the FAA has ruled that everyone will be reset to zero on everything at midnight on 1-3-14. No lookback required, except for the 10 hours rest prior to duty on the 4th.

I'm glad to DALPA is not rubber-stamping management's every wish.

Most of you have received the recent All Pilots Bulletin from SVP-Flight Operations, Captain Steve Dickson, regarding the Company position on FAR 117’s interaction with several provisions of the existing PWA. ALPA is actively negotiating with the Company to reach an agreement on the new FAR 117 regulations and our PWA work rules.

With regard to the Company's publication, the Company and the Association disagree about the effect of the new FARs on some of the current work rules.

ALPA has informed the Company that the Association is retaining all its rights under the PWA. Until there is an agreement, Contract Administration will continue to enforce the current language in the PWA.

If you have a reserve rotation removed from your line due to the Company asserting that your acknowledgement was untimely, please contact Contract Administration immediately.
...and in related news, the company is slow-rolling next month's schedule release, again.

Welcome to the "new" Delta. Smells a lot like the "old" Northwest.

Ha, I totally went in the backdoor and evidently left too soon because things weren't finished yet.

What I mean is the schedule was slightly different than what I saw.

WHAT DA PHO?

Man, I could have sworn there was a lot of angst after the merger about how all the bubbas were controlling everything? Which is it?

Just read DAL is clipping PEk to NRT flights, I work these every month and the load factors on them seem good. Are we code sharing this out or just doing the Monty Python move? (run away run away)

This has been a way to get crews to Asia, will this cause more DH's to NRT or is something else happening?

thanx
