Orvil,

I just reread your question. You have no obligation to check your schedule on the 31st since you are on an X day on the 1st. Save your golden days for later in the month.

You only check your schedule/acknowledge SC/trip after 1500 the day prior to your first on call day, and no later than 1 hour prior to a SC or 3 hours prior to report for a rotation.

Why is DAL still on a "B Scale"? Honest question guys. Got a GS for Sat morning for a 2 day trip. Capt was a line holder for DEC, I'm on resv. He gets 10:30 credit, I get 9:06 (if line holder, 10:30 credit for the F/O). Now, I really do believe that a majority of DAL pilots wanted that removed in the last contract (equal pay for equal trips) which was one of the questions on the so called "survey". But for some reason, a clause is in the contract allowing a flow -up for rj driver is in our contract, but not equal pay for trips for DELTA PILOTS!

Someone please explain this..... rj drivers are more important that equal pay for DAL pilots?!!

Looks like some color coding in the bid results? What's the difference between a purple and yellow reserve day?

You new to reserve? Let me guess the trip had a block of 9:06?? A REG pilot would get 5:15 for each day and you get Block. Its because you already have a guarantee for the month. Its all explained in the contract.

Getting RES and REG trip pay equality has been on the list for as long as almost anyone can remember. ALPA got us one step closer to that by adding the ADG rig. ADG rig applies to lineholders and reserve, so it bumps up the RES closer to a lineholder values (on a "credit trip", hard time trips aren't affected). So tell your reps you want improvements to ADG, that will fix the issue at last.

That was one of the most pathetic losses I've ever seen. They were running through Green Bay's defense like it was toilet paper and they decided to pass in the 4th quarter.

Someone needs to go.
