Had to laugh, not at you, but just laugh....I came to check the thread and saw you had the most recent post. I just knew you were commenting on what I posted. Which is fine, but I knew it.
It's kind of like I just know no one from (D)ALPA is going to say the union has made a mistake in the past (fill in the blank) years. 6? (at least since I've been here. Can you recall any acknowledgement of regret on anything? Batting 1.000
I mean, I'd be willing to be more open to their DPA criticism if they'd look in the mirror and be honest just once in a while. But in ALPA land it's "We're the shinning knight, and that Orc over there wants to castrate you."
And I've passed that sentiment on to DALPA. Fact is, they aren't infallible. And IMO we need to hear them admit that.

Because ALPA is currently our bargaining agent(whether you're a DPA supporter or not) and most likely will be going into C2015, you need to write your reps to support A.A. next week.
Have you met either candidate? Have you compared their perspective resumes?
Then the MEC needs to allow him to put into place a team that is unified in working with him
Does the MEC work for the Chairman or does the Chairman work for the MEC?
vs undermining from the beginning like K.R.
What proof do you have that he was being undermined? Why didn't KR provide one example of said "undermining"?
If it means cleaning house of the old guard, so be it.
How much "cleaning house" is either candidate claiming to do?
Some of them will come around and can be useful, some won't change and must be sent back to the line.
Does "coming around" and liking the Chairman become a keep/let go factor? What about job performance?

Well the World Cup groups are out. USA has a tough one. Looked at flights in June, we are showing one 767-400 from JFK, two 767-300ERs from ATL, and one 767-300ER from DTW all to Sao Paulo. I heard that we got permission for a 747. Anyone have any info about that?
