Our CBA cannot abrogate your rights under HIPPA or any other Federally protected right. It'll take a Delta pilot to challenge them legally on it. Which of course means, not using an ALPA attorney.

AirTran pilots can't fly Delta airplanes. AirTran operated aircraft owned by Delta aren't counted as part of the Delta fleet for scope compliance purposes.
What was told to me (first hand) was that the LCA was sent to do a flight on a 717 that DAL was about to purchase. The flight was performed by 2 ATI pilots and after the flight a check was handed over. The reason for the hurried nature was to keep DAL within scope compliance.
I'm trying to get the details, maybe I misunderstood what really transpired.

No problem. Clearly I don't post much, just lurk. However it seems that if someone feels that they are legitimately having their privacy rights violated filing a complaint would seem to get to the bottom of it pretty quick. Something else, Health and Human Services is very clear that anyone can file a complaint, even if it is on behalf of someone else. It would seem to me that an alternative organization to ALPA could very easily file something. Again, I haven't personally been harassed, and I do call in sick a couple of times a year.

You can forget AA on that count, and maybe VS for the PR value, but expect a last minute entry who will have the support of the recall 10.
Well, one of those ten reps is acl65pilot. He might position himself to be the swing voter again. I'll bet slowplay is sweeping acl's porch every day.

Maybe splitting hairs but as I remember it DAL isn't buying anything to start with. Boeing Capital owns the a/c SWA leases them then subleases to DAL at least to start. DAL may own them at the end of the lease or have rights purchase at X price.
