I'd much rather it be that than Ohio State.

Given what I've read in the trial by press already in the papers on Winston, I doubt charges will be pressed. Remember, ftb... no means no!
If FSU was to stumble against Duke and OSU lost and Auburn wins... does this mean a Auburn vs Alabama BCS NCG!?

Wikipedia would say.... The State of Alabama existed and then it didn't...

But an 80ktsclamp vs FTB National Championship game is a ways away, Auburn still has Mizzou and FSU plays Duke who has shocked the students at Duke. They didn't even know they had a football team until today.

All the Duke students were at the basketball arena waiting for the game to start. "football?"

Congrats to AU, great game for y'all.

I'm still a Hoser fan if that means anything.

The crazy part of this game was that UGA and GT were in OT during the final stretch. My wife went to UGA so she kept flipping the channel back and forth. I guess I get what I deserved, I had sworn not to watch it. First time I've watched a Iron Bowl live from beginning to end since 1999. I left early in 2001. They're miserable games to me.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe you get the idea that I'd use a EFB to navigate by, nope. Perhaps we misunderstand each other. .... me thinks you aren't buying a lot of $7 a gallon avgas to go about 150 knots across the ground into a headwind on an engine that's ~ $40,000 overhaul.

The Bonanza has HSI, dual Garmin 430's feeding a GMX200 which has chart view datalinked and sync'd with the GPS, TAWS and traffic. In all reality, the database capabilities of the avionics make a flight bag unnecessary.

The EFB is mostly used as a tool to conjure up more direct routing when ATC (Charlotte being the worst ) comes up with re routes which look like an outline of President Lincoln's hat (and which can cost hundreds of dollars). I find present position a real aid when trying to renegotiate a re route on the fly (or when deciding to say screw you and squawkin' 1200 while flying over, under, or around their Class B). Generally I leave the aircraft's displays on whatever I'm cleared for (VFR or IFR) and use the EFB for speculative planning.

Thus far, although I'd love something newer, the hacked together ASUS first gen Transformer TF101 can't be beat.

Any idea if Delta will authorize FD Pro to the Content Locker iPad crowd? If so, the "Cyber Monday" deal for the iPad seems to be the exact same $120 savings that Target offered as a door buster.

I'm thinking your suspicions that Boeing Jepp are not going to do a RT one off if they can avoid it.

Thanks!

BB.. Totally understand. If I had my own plane...get a Stratus and use Foreflight. Nice SID, STAR, and App plates that overlay the Forefight. With the moving Map...you also get the weather in real time and it's movement. That's what we should have in every cockpit.

BB, if you were going from Atlanta to RDU/RIC/ORF area would CLT let you go over the top in your Bo?

Just saw the highlights... Alabama's got a big weak spot in their kicker (two shanked attempts earlier in the game). What an incredible last play!

... you just saved me $600. Thanks. Time to work on my hacked up Linux/Andriod tablet some more.

Maybe an Aviation unit might have better luck.

I have seen the "Bad Elf" Bluetooth GPS receiver (hooked up to Ipad.) work flawlessly on a few flights. There were no issues with heated windows or radio frequency interference.

Neat stuff.

[QUOTE=forgot to bid;1530739]

I'm still a Hoser fan if that means anything.

Thanks FTB. I'll be pulling for AU the rest of the way, unless somehow Bama & AU get in the Nat Chmp game!

I think Mich St will take OSU down, so it could end up FSU & AU if they get past Missouri this Sat. Good luck, I think they will.
