How do you proffer a green slip on reserve?

I know it's in PCS. Do you apply under green slip request or under first to fly on X days?

Thanks.
DO NOT VOLUNTEER ON X DAYS!! No extra pay, no X days back.

Normal "Green Slip without conflict" PCS entry.

Liquidations will be processed in seniority order based on operational needs. If you have a vacation in the January bid period, you can expect a call from the company with a proffer to liquidate that vacation. You may refuse the proffer and keep your scheduled vacation if that is your desire.

If you are interested in having your vacation liquidated or have any questions, please contact Crew Resources by emailing them at [email protected] no later than 1000 EST December 4th. If your seniority allows your vacation to be liquidated, you will be notified by email prior to 1800EST Dec 4th.

If your January vacation is liquidated, you will bid in PBS as if the vacation were never there. You will be paid for the liquidated vacation on 15FEB14. The pay will be in addition to earned pay and credit for the January bid period.

Orvil,

Pd was clear, but just to be clearer

GS only.

You will get your x days back or banked to use later and be paid single pay over the reserve guarantee.

Yup, now that makes sense.

Wow. Sounds like old Northwest days, except they would just cancel it.

Let, me go look at the last AE to see how short they are.

It would seem that crew resources is being far too conservative in their calculus of required positions. They stated that they foresaw a need for additional 320 A's in the last update... so why were there no positions on the last bid? Waiting for a constantly moving block hour target from marketing will assure mayhem as they fall further and further behind and the training pipeline becomes full. If we are at the point of vacation sell back, then I would assume they don't believe they can staff the category with green slips and IA's. With more of these aircraft coming, I can't see why they don't just put the bid out!!

It is a pure sale of our jobs. For cheap.

DALPA "constructively engaged" big time on that one.
