And you flew old Carl once to ATL.

I had to wonder...

Could it be...?

Hey...I was unavoidably detained.

Every once in awhile I'll come across one that just flat out gives himself away without realizing (PilotFrog, paging PilotFrog ) It was the TCU phone case and his presence in a certain location that he had just mentioned on this thread that outed him. As with every Delta pilot I run into from this thread, it was great to put a face with the (screen)name.

In all fairness, I always introduce myself as LeineLodge after I figure out who someone is. Fair is fair. Makes this place a little more interesting too if you know you could be held accountable for what you write.
I've met a number of the crazies around here as well... and if someone figures it out (like volav8r did in about 45 seconds a few weeks back), I won't deny my inner Clampage. It's always neat putting faces to names.

I guess the PCS runs are still going rather slow. I put in a number of things just before 5 and... nada.

I think I was about 3 days into a 6 day OE trip when I found out my student was Ferd. It was good before but the last 3 days were a hoot. I think he has checked out of this forum.

Lots of people have. It's turned into a microcosm of what the webboard was....a few people sniping at each other with pages long missives heavy on posturing and low on content.

There are a few tidbits here and there, but overall, the juice is getting to be not worth the squeeze.

Plus I think a couple of "DAL only" forums have popped up, and people have probably been draining off in that direction.

Yes! I remember that! In a Diesel 9 none the less.

And, despite some on here who would have you believe he's Satan, "Carl" is a really good guy!

I picked an APCer out of the crowd in like 2 minutes once....and it was Ferd! Yeah, he told me he was taking a break from this looney bin.

I'm no expert but Nesbitt is probably the superior technical violinist.
Lindsey does more modern music though. I like the experimental electronic stuff.

Some of the instrumental dubstep compilations on YouTube are outstanding. Mighty fine tunage.
I'm always fascinated that my kids recognize that stuff because its the background music for a lot of online video games.
