Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
He says a contract should pass by 80%+ not 50% +1. Is not the will of the majority possibly subverted by requiring such a high standard to pass? Should we now not follow the will of the majority in contract votes? I don't agree.
Okay, I went back and reread his post. I may be taking the Unity thing out of context but his comment implied to me that there could not be unity with anything other than his way of thinking. Just from a numbers standpoint, there is more unity within the majority than the minority.

I think he's right in the desire to shoot for much higher passage numbers. It would not only show we've reached for more, but would unarguably show unity. Our MEC chairman was just recalled on a 10-9 vote. It was a majority, but nobody could call our current MEC unified.

Not sure if they're all set up the same, but I did that flight last week and it had the old school TV's in the isle ceiling.
That's exactly how I feel when I'm sitting in base, late morning-early afternoon, and they haven't passed out the short calls for the next day -- trying to figure out if I should go home.
