Default increased competition in NYC?

Jetblue just ordered 35 new 321's and upgraded some of their backlogged orders to NEO's:

Why? Is it your belief that Delta pilots are unaware of our pay rates, and where we fit in the industry? I guess we're different. I give the pilot group a little more credit for being aware of our status, and judging whether or not they have a good contract.

I get that you disagree. What I don't get is that you assume most pilots agree with you, and need to be reminded of how terrible our careers are, and how much this job sucks.

Maybe you could start a committee of like-minded thinkers to stand in front of OC-2, dressed as Admiral Ackbar, yelling at pilots coming in to interview, "It's a trap!"

Those charts are older than the -9, proving not much at all.

Guys and girls, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE report unsatisfactory hotel accommodations to DAL via an ASR and shoot ALPA an email. I'm tired of feeling like the only one complaining about hotels not honoring our contract. Maybe they really don't know what our PWA says so shame on DAL and ALPA for not setting the requirements with them! I'm sick and tired of getting rooms right off the elevator or across from the vending area/ice machines!
Please take a few minutes to be an active member, the more reports submitted the sooner things get fixed.

I like that site. I even recognize some of the flight attendants.

???No offense because I'm sure it does happen. But, it's been quite a while since I've had any of those problems. I've found the hotels more than responsive and compliant.

Sorry and no offense to you also but I'm absolutely tired of walking back to the front desk to ask them to fix my room and watch them THEN be responsive and compliant. I estimate 30% of my rooms given don't comply w contract. Constantly getting rooms next to elevator and ice machine. I should t have to walk back and ask the. To deliver what they agreed to and are being paid for. And btw they Always have an acceptable or much better room they were saving while trying to pawn off substandard crap on delta pilots. I now ask every time about room locations before accepting.... And STILL find I have to return to desk because they lied to me or just had no clue. I'm sure my captains think there is no problem too...
