Those have got to be waiting in the cue for XJet and or SKW in 2015 as part of some sort of 50 seated turn in ratio. (From my POV in the cheap seats.)

Bar, how can you expect an 88 guy to sleep well when you keep posting a How It's Made version of the 88?

You need to look at NYC 7ER trips.

I would need to use my flashlight to read them. What's on there?

All I know is all of those hot Eastern European women in New York must have gotten there somehow.

And remember that bigger pays more.
The replacement for the 747 will be the 777-300ER so little to no change in the number of top paying jets. I do believe that pure economics will lead to a 3 tier pay scale and a big opportunity for DALPA to add the 767-400 and 330 to the top pay scale. We could make it a seat number tier and bring a large % of pilots a pay raise on top of a negotiated total system pay raise. Training through put will be taxed to the limit in a few years and the tier system would greatly lessen training events.
This would be the first step toward T's coveted LBP.

And how many 777-300ERs are on order? And how many A330IGW are on order? Not throwing rocks at you, but I will believe it when I see it. I honestly think the BEST we can hope for is the next gen of 787s, but you and I will probably be gone before they show up. Mr A hasn't shown any propensity to buy off the shelf big $$$ airframes. Unless BA gets desperate... (seen their earnings and stock price lately?) I doubt there is gonna be much of a deal for us in those cards. I sincerely hope I get to eat crow on that prediction, but I highly doubt I will.

Had the head honcho on a flight from JNB to ATL and asked him a direct question and he gave me a direct answer. Boeing will be pushing the new 777-9x at the replacement time and dollars to doughnuts we will get a good price on the 777-300ER "mature" aircraft. Boeing came real close on this last deal.

I hope you are right, and it is pointless to debate it now... but like a FedEx friend of mine once said "I'll believe it when it is sitting on the ramp painted purple"

Truer words have never been spoken. We both have seen too many sure things fail to materialize to count chicks before eggs.
