???

There is no reason to just "scrape by" with else next bid group. You can bid whatever you desire in a subsequent bid group. I routinely craft a "perfect" bid then have PBS go to a realistic backup bid group if the first one can't be honored. No couch cushion vacuuming required.

Totally changing direction here....
I'm not much of a credit card user and looking for the best rewards type card. I'm leaning towards a SPG AmEx since we stay at a number of those properties, just don't like the idea of a yearly fee. Not really interested in airline miles for obvious reasons, so any other type of rewards card is fair game.
Thanks in advance for the help and insight!

I've been working and off line for several days, so maybe I missed it if it was posted here, but the new DALPA forum is finally up and running. You have to re-register, the old site won't take you to the new one.

There seem to be some issues they are still working out with regard to who is/is not a Delta Pilot registering for the new site, until they sort that out I'm not going to provide the link. Drop me a PM and I'll give it to you.

A certain prolific poster has already got over 104 posts on it! I registered last night and tried to post today, seems I've not been cleared for that activity yet, so they are doing some fact checking before they allow just anybody on....I hope.

If this info has already been posted here, sorry for the repeat.

Carry on...

Timbo, are you saying the Delta ALPA forum is back online? Or are you talking about an alternative forum for Delta pilots? I went to the DALPA website and still get the "closed for business" sign.

I'd love to hang with you and BiigD, but like a bug to a bright light, I... must...stay....in...Mecca! My first wife really likes it there and so do I.
I always bid them but they go very senior in NYC. Must be all the commuters there that don't want to do multiple commutes. I guess it depends on the makeup of the base.

Scheduling gets it's lead from DALPA--M88 pilots are the last to get any attention.

With all the re-routes, you wife will never be able to find you.

So, don't worry, you are safe from her as long as you stay in the crew hotel, as long as it isn't the crew hotel in BOG, or MEX, or ......
