We could bury them quite easily just by fare matching, especially to MCO. Or we could push the margins up by reducing service to gift them the capacity to keep the yields up but lose revenue and marketshare and then let them (and others) pick off more markets in the future at their liesure and on their terms. They have low costs, but an even lower threshold for red ink and the ability to absorb it. We can't be the industry accumulator and capacity gifter forever. LCC growth is a cancer and early detection and treatment is the key.

Allegiant started flying out of the town in NC where I live to "Orlando" too. Everyone was happy, until they started flying it and realized by Orlando, Allegiant actually meant Sanford. Angry letters to the editor and threatened lawsuits about deceptive practices followed. Allegiant left town shortly after that when ridership fell sharply.

Ok, WHERE are the B schedules??
Come on man, we're sitting around on our hands here trying to come up with a plan for Nov, Thanksgiving, trying to see the kids for at least one holiday this year, etc., and Delta is all "yerp de derp, we have until the 17th..."

This just aint right man... I just can't take the wait wondering if I'm gonna be bent over while standing, or while on my knees...

Ok, HERE's a topic of interest we can all get into:
who has the best coffee in the rooms?

My vote:
1. Westin with their Starbuck's coffee pods, each about three times the weight of coffee than the next competitor!

2. Marriot with their wierd maroon and red striped packages, a wee coffee sachet that sits lopsided sideways in a black plastic disposable holder that slides into the machine... Meh. Drinking one now, surprisingly decent strength but not great flavor.

3. Somebody has that Wolfgang Puck's version, can't remember who though... meh.

Plus Westin gives you actual half and half instead of some powdered creamer, if you're so inclined.

What say you?

Month to month transition pairings to ensure every C44 First Officer is flying from Noon to 3 PM on 1 November. Having to split a lot of trips DH to Birmingham, three hour sit, DH to Atlanta.

I keed I keed.
