You might be right. But then again, that's how it should be. At least initially. There should be a built in skepticism and a zealous/protective bias towards all things scope. If its truly an improvement, let the comprehensive case be made and we will decide, based on our guarded perspective.

What we can't have are secret LOA's by one person that provide generous rebalancing relief to the company. I don't think there is any chance that would have passed MEMRAT. And good or bad we don't need any more scope deals at any level that is pushed through without a comprehensive vetting by the entire group. No more "we have to pass it to see what's in it, time limited urgent opportunity" stuff.

I think that is a valid conclusion.

I also got the ALPA email they are meeting to recall the MEC chairman. What's up with that?

Is the DALPA forum still "read-only" or is the new site up and running?

And that view is a cornerstone of the "logic" behind the alternate representation rhetoric. Of course whether or not it actually WAS a "cave" is irrelevant as far as they are concerned.

ftb be happy today. Mizzou beatin the crap out of Gawgia. Tsquare however very very worried because the Big Orange haven't played Mizzou yet....

edit: it ain't over yet.... maybe ftb ain't gonna be happy

Asked one of my Reps about this. Apparently there is a special MEC meeting next Thursday, agenda not yet published. If there was a 81 email to that effect I would imagine someone here could copy and paste that bit. Is the 81 Chairman leading a recall attempt of the MEC Chairman?

Scoop
As of yesterday it was still read only. I spoke with one of the ATL Capt. reps and he said it should/could be up an running in about another week.

He said originally they were going to try to keep it up and running while they loaded the new software, but it got to be too much, so now it's read only until they have it all done.

He said on Oct. 2-3 they said it would take about 2 weeks...making it about Oct. 16-17 to be finished.
