Interesting snippet from a Seeking Alpha article:

To cover up for empty seats, Southwest Airlines had implemented a "No Show policy" and "Lost Ticket." Under the no show policy, if a customer fails to change or cancel tickets 10 minutes prior to travel and fails to board the flight, he/she will be termed as a "no show" and no refund will be provided. In case of Lost Ticket, no replacement or refund would be provided and new tickets will have to be purchased at appropriate fare charges.

I wonder if the rest will follow suit.

LUV is also increasing it's stock buyback plan. I wonder if that is also one of the reasons why shareholders are paying up for the stock....

Here's the article in it's entirety for those interested. Click <

Alfa,

I cannot imagine the pain and agony you and yours are going thru now. No parent should out live their kids. This has always been my greatest fear.

My heart goes out to you and your family. I pray you all can find a path to navigate thru this tragedy.

Denny

Sir,

My heart sank as I read you words. My condolences.

I have lost loved ones, and while they are not physically here, I do believe a person is never really truly gone. They come back to us in the subtlest of ways just to let us know they are okay. I hope, I pray, that you find some peace and comfort in these moments till that day when you will meet again.

No words can express our sorrow. We can only hope your faith, friends and family will somehow comfort you in these times. My family will send a prayer your way. God bless.

The first 717 is heading to ATL today.

Delta (DL) #9988 ? 10-Oct-2013 ? KMIA - KATL Flight Tracker ? FlightAware

ftb's days of getting paid to hang out at home are numbered.
