According to our CEO they just refinanced 1.5 billion of debt at 8% and the financing to bulldoze T-3, redo T-4 and expand and fix T-2 should be announced shortly. If you want to catch him try to grab a late afternoon flight of Friday in LGA. He is up there every week and more than willing to talk to ya.
AMR is not budging so far.

FWIW, I heard this a few weeks ago.

The ones making money from air travel are the aircraft manufacturers, the credit card companies, the banks and other financial institutions who finance airlines, senior management, the fuel suppliers, the caterers, the government, the hotel industry, car rental firms, the cruise ships, etc. etc. etc.
That appears to be the case. The question is, are we going to play along?

ACL ... why no SILS in October?

Company tired of paying greenslips while it has bodies?

Is this true?

Midwest Air Group, Inc. (formerly listed AMEX:MEH) was an American airline holding company based in Oak Creek, Wisconsin that owns Midwest Airlines.[1] It was ultimately controlled by parent company, TPG Capital Texas Pacific Group. Delta with the merger of Northwest Airlines Inc,. now owns 47% of the reformulated company's stock in a "silent partnership," which has now evolved into a full codeshare partnership between the two airlines .

Yes, it was quite the hype late 2007. NWA at one time also owned a large portion of CAL.

Hello my fair and unbiased prospective LEC representatives.

A) I'm curious how you feel about post 9/11 hire pre-merger NWA pilots (who have zero pension) receiving approximately 3% less 401k contribution than their pre-merger DAL counterparts.

B) I'd also like to know how you feel about pre-merger NWA pilots receiving their longevity raises 2-3 months after their pre-merger DAL counterparts.

Unity 101. No doubt you'll be willing to fix that unlike our current leadership. Believe it or not there are some issues that are more immanent than RJ's to some of us. Thanks.

As a matter of fact, just layed over at our DEN hotel with free internet. Somebody hacked the wireless and my laptop is toast. I called the desk and they could have cared less. If you're staying at the Crowne in downtown DEN do NOT use the hotel wireless. You will have the worm of all worms. DO NOT use the free wireless at the Crowne in DEN.

Don't get your hopes up. We are dying like weeds out here. It's all going north and east. Alaska is getting all of our flying. My QOL is degrading rapidly. When our north bros get ahold of these bases, we're toast. 'Course, they'll be inheriting the crap we fly these days. Its not something you want to sell your soul for. Its all redeyes to JFK or ORL. I'm dying for some similar time zone shizzle or some "premium widebody international pay." Haven't seen it and now probably never will.

How's the small bus FNWA guys?

Im sure I'd be upset with those things too if I were in your shoes.

They'll probably tell you that they would not of done that if it was up to them and that those issues are an unfortunate reality due to the fact that BOTH pilot groups ratified the joint contract.

Almost everyone at this new company can find an issue with this merger if they want to. Im sorry to say, but I wouldn't count on getting on answer that you want to hear.

Everyone has their issues prioritized. Scope is probably the biggest issue for a large percentage of this pilot group, with pay restoration being right behind it.

I hope you find your answer.
