Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
319/320 aircraft upgrades
I just finished listening to the new, right from Richard. Apparently, at the last BOD meeting they approved a new configuration for the A319/A320 fleet. The A319's will be getting avod throughout the plane with live Tv. Also, specifically mentions using these airplanes on routes to Latin America. It looks like we may actually grow our own product in Latin America vs. Pushing people to GOL and Aero Mexico.

Atlas' pilots voted ALPA in in the late 90's. Atlas (the company) then bought Polar and began whipsawing the two against each other. ALPA National was totally ineffective in moderating that dispute (ala TWA/American) and were voted out.
I think the lesson here is that looking to National in labor disputes between two competing airlines won't get you very far. I know, NWA/Delta were two competing airlines with a successful outcome, but we did not look to National for help. We were big boys who slugged it out on our own and made it work.
Copa (Departures)
Great Lakes
United
According to the airport web site... Wasn't there a rumor we are looking to trade T6 in LAX for gate space in ORD with United? Copa is just Latin United... with lower wages.

Imho, if we are ever going to be in a position to choose, TC must step aside. If there are as many Dpa members(serious members, not just guys trying to scare dalpa) they need a leader that people trust and will follow. TC ain't the guy. If guys are serious they need to get off their butts and chat boards and come forward. While I do somewhat admire his tenacity, I think he's doing more harm to reaching the magic number than helping
