Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
A guy on the 320 in ATL got his first GS today and already his second tomorrow (along with 10% of the category). I think that's a new record. On a Thursday... not even the weekend.

319/320 are getting reconfigured without the aft galley (like what the FA's hate on the 88/90, but it's a money maker). Lavs will be moved to the back wall and it'll allow 9 or so more seats on each plane. It will greatly improve the CASM of the 319. 319s will get AVOD and start being used on long legs again. 320 apparently won't be getting AVOD.
I don't really care because it's not really in my wheelhouse, so to speak, but do we really want our (sometimes) loyal customers to equate getting on and off our airplanes to being herded though the line at Popeyes?

Barely any campaigning? My email account is bombarded every week. And I'd hardly call 5600 cards "half of the list ready to bail." I sent in a card, & I'm a NO vote. So the number of cards submitted is hardly an indication of those ready to bail.
Makes me wonder company wide how many went out today. Someone with more patience should look them all up

Ugh. Another move to add a few seats, maybe make a few bucks, and most certainly **** off deplaning Joe Average who has to fight his way past the cleaners and the caterers and the weird M2 quality control/download people who swarm the airplane (right after the HVCs deplane) more aggressively and with less tact than my two elementary school aged boys go after free pizza served by the cute Kindergarten teacher at school...

I heard they were looking at adding more seats to the 88, anyone else hear that?

XJ flow pilots must have a degree to flow, this is straight from a Q & A E-mail sent out by ALPA. No degree no flow.

Good gouge; thanks 80Kts
A few tidbits from a few big wigs after being at the right place at the right time:
300 new bodies is just the beginning... they anticipate significant off the street hiring later next year and it sounds like many more bodies than just 300.
College degree is required for the Pinnacle SSP participants, not for CPZ or XJ flows. Said perhaps sometime in the future the requirement may be waived, but only for those actively pursuing the degree and not for those that didn't just blow it off.
Aircraft order is between the 777 and 330, and no decision has been made yet. It sounds like they may be leaning toward the 777 as some things they want to do will be out of even the 332's range.
321 order is Airbus's to lose. We want it, they just have to dance.
