Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Take the ALV increases and the summer bid period changes with the above quote and you have more gas to throw on the fire of stagnation.

Alaska ZED
Anyone have any experience using Alaska ZEDs?
The Travelnet fare calculator says it takes 2-3 days for the email to show up that you can then take to the ticket counter. Is this pretty accurate? Is it ever faster? I'm looking for plan D through Z.
Is there a better way to check loads than using the View Seats link on their website?
While we're at it, anyone know how to check loads on Hawaiian? They use eZED so that would be preferred.
Thanks

The summer of 2014 will see 10 less 757 aircraft in service, compared to summer 2013. As a result, we may surplus 7ER pilots on the next bid, particularly on the First Officer side.
If the next Displacement is anything like the June AE, over 40% of the FO's on the SLC737 will be displaced in two bids. That is truly amazing considering all the positive hype that people seem to be talking about.
Sorry, just venting, but you will have guys that were #60 of 100 in may getting displaced.

The people providing the positive hype stopped posting here last month. This is a sad but important lesson for us. I believe everyone here had strong misgivings and worries about the TA prior to signing. DALPA knew it. That administration saw it as their duty to get you to temporarily suspend your gut instincts and believe them. It worked. Many of us were screaming that we were being lied to and spun by that DALPA administration. Others here said folks like me were the liars.

I agree with you. From the day the first negotiator's notepad came out, I was furious and disgusted. I never felt good about our TA. I was a hell no vote. I'm convinced now that I am a permanent no vote for every TA I ever vote for. After it was voted in, I had some feelings that maybe 62 percent of us are right and I am unreasonable. Now that I've been under this contract for a year, I am angry that my fellow pilots voted this in.

In order to most efficiently utilize our staffing, we will be pairing MSP Captains with NYC First Officers. For most NYC First Officer only rotations in August the NYC First Officers will begin and end their rotation with a deadhead to and from MSP. Most MSP Captain only rotations will begin and end in MSP.
Sure glad I'm getting displaced from MSP to NYC along with several other JR FO's in AUG. I don't know whether to laugh or cry....
