Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I'd like to see the logistical plan for the swap of 320s to SLC and 90s to MSP, from training to handling the flying while everyone is in training to the actual completion the move and so forth. It'd be interesting to see and my guess its probably the most difficult swap they're going to do system wide post SOC.

Oh no you di-in't. (Picture head moving side to side like a prize chicken)... You are right, it isn't as bad as it could be.. by the same token, it isn't as good as it could be either.
How about this though. Scheds need to determine how many short calls they need prior to the month, and we bid for short call... JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE WE DO.... And... if they need extra short call pilots... premium pay. Thoughts?

The CNC works for the MEC. The MEC Should work for the LEC's who work for the pilots.
We need to make sure that the desires of the group are succinct and to the point. We need to educate the membership on the costs of outsourcing. Not just here and there, but an end to end presentation on what it has done, how it has destroyed out base etc.
I agree that there are pilots that will do anything for a raise, the fact is that, that number is probably under 15%. If effect outnumbered.

Instead of having multiple banks they could just have 2 or so to make sure the international flights are fed.
JFK doesn't need to be used any more than necessary, especially RJ-land (what a nightmare!)...best to shift all the domestic connections to our new set up.

When you get elected can I propose that we also fix the issue that when you deviate from a deadhead at the beginning of a rotation that you don't get your perdiem. That sucks. Also, if there's seats, positive space on a deviation at the front end of a rotation would be great. I know the bubbas in ATL don't care much now, but as more guys start to deadhead, they will.
I would think candidates for this might be NYC-MIA. Currently all of our flights are out of JFK. They could instead do 2 out of LGA and 2 out of JFK.

I am all for making JFK a better place to get in and out of. I like LGA, I know one of the few, and there is a gold mine there for us. I would love to see us be able to hit the near west or west coast from there.
Yea, but I like both soooo much! Christmas and GS that is.

I have always been able to deviate as I wanted. I just ask real nice and all.
