Hey guys loyal Delta flier whenever I can. I follow many of the discussions on codeshare and how it affects you guys. I just tried to book a ticket to Paris and it was difficult to get there without riding on Air France (even through ATL) , which I absolutely do not want to do.
I ended up going home - Atlanta - Newark - Paris. Three legger to stay Loyal to DAL and avoid AF.
Two hour layover in each airport, so crossing fingers to not missing a connection.

Do you try to fly on a US carrier, or have you had bad service on AF, etc.?
Just curious!

AF is not an airline I have any desire to ever ride on. Some of the regionals we codeshare with are sketchy, and AF is just as sketchy. I'm pretty sure they've been the first to wreck most of the aircraft types they operate currently.

Here's what a post from an excited new hire sounds like, in case anyone forgot:
FYI they are still doing interviews I am a new hire myself and today while on the train in Denver terminal we met a guy that interviewed today going home. They are really short fo's and I keep timing out 30/7. Also I have 2 friends that just got hired one is scheduled for July class and the other in August. Good luck and keep ur stuff up to date. United is a great company with a lot of movement.

Just a guess, but check out the RA-5 Vigilante. Mach 2+...fastest ever, and one of the largest ever to operate of a carrier.
