What'd you say?

What'd you say first?

I've yet to find an image of how this ended.

Would I get an infraction if I showed a eagle disemboweling a house cat in public? I found one.

Look if people are going to be ugly, let em'. Shows more about them than you right? For instance, go back a year and look at some of the stuff directed at me because I took the TA's Section 1 numbers, the old PWAs Section 1 language, a math question posed here for background and calculated some things out. The correct response just needed to be that the math is wrong here or there or somewhere and that'd be the end of it. But it's not how it went. Which made/makes me wonder, and fear, the math is right and either something was missed or our view of give and take leans more towards surrender.

As to traitor? Nobody is a traitor for voting TA 2012 up or down imho.
Cool Picture.............I dont think this is the first encounter, the cat's tail is up and it's not "fluffed" More like lets play vs let's dance

My rant wasn't entirely directed at you as you are very analytical as you said, and both sides get nasty on here.........and why I don't get on here much. As I've said before, if you want to be happy......don't hang around with unhappy people. But, this place is like crack, you can only stay away for so long without going to a meeting.

There is one of our more popular members who can't agree with anyone on here, generally takes the opposite view........but at least he can't do it under 3 paragraphs. He hates the union and the company but if you read his stuff in other threads (ie SWA stuff) you'd think he bleeds Delta Blue

Anyway.........I hate this place, it's like watching a train wreck, but here I am

So...................once again..................I think the standard is, would you REALLY say what you type in a bar to a guy with a half full mug of beer in his hand????? Probably not, and why it bugs me guys say provoking stuff on here.
I say exactly what I say here in a bar surrounded by guys with empty beer mugs. Although I much prefer being surrounded by women with empty beer mugs. Every once in a while somebody wants to hit me with that beer mug, but it's generally because they feel a deep loyalty toward ALPA and it pains them to hear somebody cite what they've done. Mostly, guys just respond by pulling out a blank DPA card and asking me if I've sent mine in.

Then again, I've never referred to somebody as a weak-dick traitor. But I have told guys that they simply can't allow fear to be the basis for their decisions. You'll be too easily manipulated into an incorrect decision if you do. If that makes me a keyboard warrior, then...oh well.

Oh btw, I'm the police officer, judge and jury if you want to sue. So let me add, quit complaining, if you want something done go to court.
And now, some Delta pilots are gathering signatures to allow for the democratic process to elect new judges and appoint new police officers. The result of that activity is to have the johnso29's etal *****ing and moaning over and over and over again about changing the judicial system from within.

I guess when I've read your debates I've wondered where you get fear from. I looked at the numbers differently and based on my experience (ran a flying hour program in the AF....yes probably apples to oranges to an extent) came up with a different answer than you did. Was it fear, nope. Am I insulted that guys "think" it was fear.........you bet.

My last bar fight was at Nellis during a Red Flag (ok, no punches were throw but it's still a good story). One guy thought I was too afraid to knock him off the ball in a crud match....he was wrong, and I was wrong to think he wouldn't be offended by my agressive move. Thank gawd we both had "understanding" squadron commanders

Well you are just that Carl and I for one am happy that someone other than me is telling you that! There seems to be this deep rooted issue with you centered around not being honorable. Pilots are no better than anyone other human being. If you make a deal you are expected to honor it be it better or worse from your original position. ALPA is not the problem its the pilots within ALPA! ALPA national does not vote, ALPA national does not attend your LEC meetings nor do they attend your MEC meetings. ALPA simply provided a road map for which ALL of the members of the organization voted in as Bylaws.

Carl you give a bad name to this profession by your attempts to create havoc after the fact. Honorable men/women accept responsibility for their actions no matter the outcome. Shame on you...

Many of us agree and have stopped complaining. I never complain here. I only post the exact words of our contract, DALPA documents and the words of the DALPA defenders. When I do that, it's described as complaining (or worse) in an attempt to stifle debate. That's what losers in a debate do. The next thing they do is use their power of incumbency to circle the wagons and control communication.

As far as a remedy, many of us are seeking the remedy of decertifying ALPA. Is that not our right?

That's not fact, that's your opinion. Many of us have another opinion. That opinion was further bolstered by ALPA national negotiating a change to our contract for the benefit of another union...without our elected MEC being involved in any way. That's a fact. Not one single rep has come out against this action by ALPA national. Not one

I'm not seeing an unbroken portion of our system.

I've been on mil leave for over a year and don't remember this tactic.
The answer to this is the old, "You didn't have to answer your phone until 0330." Which is not a great answer or way to operate an airline, but you could have waited to 0330, acknowledged the assignment, and signed in whenever you arrived (within reason on a normal day, generally two hours), read bulletins, checked your V-file, and walked to the jet. All within your contractual rights.
