How about someone put a picture of Kate up, but with a big black coat... painted on.
You're a genius!! She was painted in Gunships post, that makes it ART, not smut!!! Does the Louvre put a robe over David? The mods start censoring art, next they'll want to start burning books!
No retreat, no surrender. We didn't give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.....

Maybe I'm reading more into your post than you meant, but it is their job to make sure the trip still goes out on time, right?

You, no doubt, have run into some [no pun intended] very bad luck on the expressways of New York city. With all due respect, I'm not understanding why Crew Scheduling is "kicking you in the junk" by ensuring there's a crew available to fly the trip? Did you tell them it'd only take you another 10-15 mins to get your tire fixed? Did you discuss with them the possibility of entering your trip, mid-rotation, once you did make it to the airport safely?

Hope your MX delay and issue with Crew Scheduling is rectified safely, and to the benefit of both your concerns and the company's.

If they personal drop the trip then your reserve guarantee gets lowered by the value of the trip. So this will cost you for not making the trip. That is what I think he is referring to about being kicked in the balls. The right thing to do would be for them to realize that you are still available once your tire is fixed and can cover a later trip. They could just put you back in the availability list with no hit in pay.

That being said, I'm sure there would be alot of calls of guys just having flats on the way to work get out of trips.

I'm against moderators demanding we burn books.

I'll burn bras everyday all day any day... within reason. Sometimes they serve a purpose. Like blue jeans. Makes things high and round that aren't high and round.

I'm against burning books and blue jeans.

That's hilarious. The guy starts out by saying how much he loves the MD-80, then proceeds to use the word "goofy" a dozen times to describe the airplane.

Well it's like my high school buddy's dog. Weird little thing. Big cataract in one eye, hair-lip type of thing going on, weirdly snarled all the time for no particular reason and to look at you, it would face it's body away and arch it's head up over it's back looking at you upside down. But we still loved the dog......like the 80.

Lol, I like how everything is over engineered. I'm surprised it doesn't have a few of these switches.

Any MD-88 pilot who has flown a Boeing will explain the benefits of the 88 over the Boeing as follows:

"When you're descending, you can select two speeds if you want by selecting IAS for the descent in this window and another speed in this speed bug window. That way you can descend at say 250 and then level off and slow to 210."

And then they go silent.

I guess they could mention that unlike a Boeing, you don't have to have a hydraulic failure to go to manual mode. You're always in manual mode.
